Custom Domain Setup Guide
Connect your own domain to your Shop Bridge store for a professional, branded shopping experience. Free SSL included.
How It Works
Open Domain Settings
Navigate to your store Dashboard, then go to Store Settings. You'll find the "Custom Domain" section.
Enter Your Domain
Type in your custom domain (e.g., shop.yourdomain.com) and click "Connect". We'll register it on our platform and show you the DNS record to create.
Configure DNS
Log in to your domain registrar and add the CNAME record shown in your Settings. Point it to cname.shopbridge.io.
Verify & Go Live
Click "Re-check DNS" in your Store Settings. Once verified, SSL is automatically provisioned and your store goes live on your domain.
DNS Record to Add
Create a CNAME record at your domain registrar with the following values:

Free SSL: Once DNS is verified, we automatically provision a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate. Your store will be accessible over HTTPS — no extra configuration needed.
Registrar-Specific Instructions
Select your domain registrar for step-by-step instructions:
Cloudflare
- Log in to your Cloudflare dashboard and select your domain.
- Navigate to DNS → Records.
- Click "Add record".
- Set Type to CNAME, Name to your subdomain (e.g. "shop"), and Target to cname.shopbridge.io
- Set Proxy status to "DNS only" (grey cloud) — this is required for SSL to work correctly.
- Click "Save".
Note: Cloudflare proxy (orange cloud) may interfere with SSL provisioning. Use "DNS only" mode for your store's CNAME record.
What to Expect After Setup
0 – 30 minutes
DNS record added. Propagation begins. Verification will show 'Pending'.
30 min – 4 hours
Most DNS providers will have propagated by now. Click 'Re-check DNS' in your Store Settings.
Verification confirmed
Once verified, SSL certificate provisioning starts automatically (usually takes 1–5 minutes).
Live!
Your store is accessible at your custom domain over HTTPS. Customers see your branded URL.
